Lang Lang
I was the lucky ones who heard LangLang play in the Roy Thomson Hall – it was a sold out evening, and it was magic – I had never seen so may people applauding and yelling for LangLang – he played Beethoven and he also gave an encore – He is very young, and lovable – really a very nice guy but what a talent ! That evening will be in my mind for a long time.

Tomorrow is the 31st anniversary of the death of a dear husband! Time goes by , the years go by, but the memory is always there even if it has been a long time.

restaurant “La Societe “
Had the pleasure of being invited to go to the restaurant called ” la Societe” – the food was good , the atmospere very nice – it was my first time there and it made me feel as if I was in a french bistro – it is simply a beautiful place to go!

Opera Siegfried
Saw the opera Siegfried by Wagner – fantastic – it lasted 5 1/2 hours, but you did not notice it – it was super – the singing was outstanding and the acting – very happy to have seen it

Chagall
went to see the Chagall exhibition today @ AGO – it is fantastic, very well laid out, and very interesting – I was lucky to see his stained glass that he did for a church in Zurich – they are beautiful and powerful – they play soft music and you can sit there and admire his work- very interesting – so if you like good art, be sure not to miss it

L’Shana Tova
this is the New Year for the jewish families – I was very lucky to be invited to share the meal with a jewish family friend – I love their food and the atmosphere is always happy and warm. I look forwardto this time of the year.

Fall
Well from now on, we can say that we are starting to feel the cool air of Fall – and this is telling us that we are heading towards Winter – let’s hope that we can still enjoy the warmth of a nice hot day!

golf
Today, what a beautiful day for golf – in the a.m. it was cool, but then the sun was out and the air was beautiful and it felt great to be outdoors. After one month of being away, the score was not so bad .
